Do I need a new phone?
No. Any eSIM-capable phone from roughly 2018 onward. If your phone can add a mobile plan by scanning a code, it can install the profile.
Who provides the data?
Nobody yet. No eSIM provider is contracted, and none will be named on this page until one is. When one is, it is named here along with what happens if it becomes unavailable.
Is this a return on an investment?
No. It is a promotional grant of product access. The allowance is denominated in mobile data, it is not redeemable for cash, and delivery depends on a third party.
Where does it work?
There is no coverage list on this site, because there is no provider to source one from. When there is, the list comes from the provider's own published list, linked, with the date it was read.
What if I sell?
Accrual stops from that block. You keep whatever is already credited to your balance — selling does not claw back an allowance that has already accrued.
If a question is not answered here it is because the answer is not known yet, not because it is being avoided. Ask and it gets added, with whatever the honest answer turns out to be.
